Preventing avoidable blindness extends beyond providing access to vision care and eyewear. That is why we support research aimed at finding a cure for diabetic retinopathy – the number one cause of blindness in the United States affecting 7.7 million people.
To date we’ve granted nearly $8 million toward vision preservation to organizations including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Schepens Eye Research Institute, the Cleveland Clinic and many more.
