Sr. Manager – Procurement and Supply

Description:

Ensure a lean, effective supply of frames, lenses, and supplies to all clinic models. Lead the development of branded product portfolio to help establish OneSight as a global leader among non-profit entities. Lead the assortment and inventory planning function to ensure adequate supply of product for seamless operation across all clinic models.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product strategies that support OneSight programming and engagement – both charitable and sustainable, both global and domestic – across all programming platforms.
  • Establish a supply chain of low cost, ISO standard compliant product across the globe.
  • Maintain effective inventory management practices and systems.
  • Manage all aspects of sourcing, buying, inventory planning, and disposition of frames, lenses, supplies, doctor’s equipment, and lab equipment.
  • Ensure that the skills required to manage product are effectively transferred to OneSight sustainable model partners.
  • Manage the development of a suite of OneSight collections that support OneSight’s branding objectives.
  • Create and drive an effective long-term and annual planning function that insures uninterrupted supply across all product categories.
  • Partner with programming leaders to identify innovations in the product portfolio and drive cost-effective fulfillment strategies

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in product-related functions such as merchandising, planning, or operations
  • Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 10% travel may be required. Specific projects may demand short-term increase in travel.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience in product management; ability to manage product introduction, assortment planning and sourcing, and inventory planning highly preferred
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to create and drive product strategies
  • Ability to effectively manage a global supplier network
