OneSight used recycled glasses to improve lives around the world for many years.
But in 2014, we made an exciting transition and now dispense 100% new eyewear to every patient.
Why New Glasses?
Because we believe everyone deserves:

The highest standard of care, whether they live in a remote village or a major city. We want every patient who walks out of our clinics to see the best they can. So we manufacture most glasses on site to match the patient’s exact prescription. This approach also allows us to comply with laws in many of the countries where we work, which prohibit distribution of used glasses.

To feel like the best version of themselves. Patients at OneSight clinics choose a frame that fits them in shape, size and style. When someone feels good in their glasses, they are much more likely to wear them often and with confidence.
Don’t worry. You can still donate the frames you have lying around. Several retailers will accept used eyewear. Please contact your local LensCrafters, Pearle Vision, Sears Optical or Target Optical to see if they are a participating location.
