Donating or Recycling Your Glasses

As technology and innovation progress, so does our patient experience. In 2014 we discontinued the use of donated glasses. Today 100% of OneSight patients receive new eyewear made to their exact prescription.

You can make clear vision a reality.

A $10 donation helps provide a pair of glasses to someone in need.

Why aren’t donated glasses given to patients anymore?

  • Less than 10% of collected eyewear meets our strict quality standards
  • Few countries allow the use of refurbished glasses
  • Every patient deserves quality eyewear that makes them feel good and look great

Can I still donate my old glasses to OneSight?

Yes. Donated eyewear is disassembled and sent to a third party recycler that utilizes the raw materials. OneSight receives modest funds based on weight that supports charitable programs.

Small quantities of collected eyewear can be dropped off at your local LensCrafters, Sears Optical or Pearle Vision locations.

For eyeglass recycling in Canada please drop eyewear at participating local retailers or ship larger quantities here:
