If you believe
In a world where everyone who needs a pair of glasses has a way to get them, you’ve come to the right place. We’re at 28 million people and counting. There’s still a ways to go, but you can be part of the journey to close the vision care gap for good.
How are we making a change this big in the world?
Our goal is nothing short of eliminating the vision care gap and ensuring that everyone, everywhere has access to an eye exam and a pair of glasses if they need them. Here’s how we’re doing it.
wheRE Possible, build
For communities that have the infrastructure and resources to support them, we partner to create sustainable vision centers. These centers provide ongoing access to vision care that’s affordable, with prices scaled to meet the needs of the people they serve. This year we were able to ensure that the entire country of The Gambia has access to vision care through a network of vision centers we created in partnership with the Gambian Ministry of Health.
Otherwise, give
Some places aren’t ready to support a long-term, permanent solution. That means delivering vision care through our charitable vision clinics. Whether we’re serving Syrian refugees in Jordan, or people in the heights of Nepal, or school-kids in New York City (with a special guest appearance from Billie Jean King), everyone who attends receives an eye exam and a pair of glasses made specifically for them.
