OneSight is sensitive to privacy issues on the Internet and is committed to protecting your privacy on our Web Site. We recognize visitors to our site may be concerned about the information they provide to us, and how we treat that information. How will OneSight protect your personal information?

Use of “Cookies”

We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file.

We set a session cookie to store your password, so you don’t have to enter it more than once per session. Persistent cookies enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Cookies are not used on this Web site to store your account information; this information is stored securely on a site that is hosted by a third party provider. When you log in at this Web site with your username and password, we will assign you a secure session id. The server then passes your information to you through this secure session id. Cookies are also used to track the identity of the Web site you visited immediately prior to visiting this Web site; otherwise, we do not track information about your use of other Web sites. Most browsers accept cookies automatically but allow you to disable them. We recommend that you leave cookies “turned on” so that we can offer you a better experience on this Web site. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site may be limited. This Privacy Statement covers the use of cookies by this site only and does not cover the use of cookies by any third party sites that may be linked to from this site.
We provide you the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes, or if you no longer wish to receive our OneSight communications, you can indicate your preference on our email communications by simply checking the box provided to unsubscribe.

Choice and Opt-out

You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our third party service provider, so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party.
Our Web site contains links to other Web sites. Although we try to link only to Web Sites that share our concern for customer information privacy, we are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices. The financial information submitted to them is used solely by those sites; only the transaction amount is forwarded to OneSight. You should review the applicable privacy statements of any other Web sites before providing personally identifiable information.

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on our donation or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
