Our solutions are already
changing the world
We have the solution. Actually, we have two solutions. One is permanent. The other meets urgent needs. And both have been helping people see better and live better from your backyard all the way to the other side of the world.

Our sustainable centers establish permanent vision care access
These centers don’t leave when we do. They’re there to stay. So local people have a place to go and receive affordable eye care for generations to come. And, to supply glasses regionally, we build manufacturing labs near or in the same country that are run by people who already live there.
Sustainable centers
impact communities
beyond sight

They create jobs by training and
employing people in the community
to work at them
They open up new educational
opportunities at local universities

And they empower
communities to be self-sustaining far after our time there

Sustainable centers
change whole countries

The Gambia had only 1 optometrist to serve
2 million people

Now, with 7 vision centers and 1 manufacturing lab, the entire country has permanent access to eye care

Even the president, Adama Barrow, visited a OneSight vision center where he received his first pair of glasses

79 local jobs have been created

Every single Gambian has the opportunity to earn more, live better and see a brighter future—for good

And now, the trained Gambian team is helping bring permanent access to other African nations like Rwanda and Liberia

So far, 197 sustainable centers
provide permanent access to 37,826,919 people worldwide
When the need is urgent,
we have an immediate solution
Our charitable clinics provide free eye exams and glasses to thousands of adults and children from the United States to China, Brazil to India. We bring everything needed to provide high-quality care, for a few days to a few weeks—even making each pair of glasses on-site.
Our clinics are nearly 100% volunteer
run

This impact led to a permanent solution—4 sustainable vision centers throughout the school district

Now, 31,000 students have year-round access to vision care and the support to realize what is possible

So far, 1,944 clinics
have provided eye exams to6,892,517 people worldwide
A solution lacks impact if it doesn’t have generosity and kindness backing it up

Community-based vision centers in Rwanda
Too expensive. Too far. These are just a couple of the reasons people in Rwanda couldn’t get the vision care they needed. Now with help from OneSight, sustainable vision care centers are helping Rwandans bring eye care to their own communities and their own neighbors.
The School-based Vision Center Model in Cincinnati
75% of Cincinnati Public School students live in poverty—making it extremely difficult and nearly impossible for their families to access vision care. Then with help from partners in the area, OneSight opened a vision care center at Oyler School which now serves all city public school students in need.
